Hi all y’all. I hope you’re having a wonderful fall season.
Since my last newsletter, I’ve been busy putting the finishing touches on my upcoming novel Dirty Daniel. I had so much fun writing this story, and I can’t wait for you to meet my newly-promoted homicide detective Meshelle “Mickey” Stanislawsky. As I was writing this book, Mickey’s story had so much story that I decided to make Dirty Daniel the first book in a series. Yep, I’m writing two more books featuring Mickey, then I’ll be able to tell her complete story.
After much thought and several versions, I finally settled on the final cover design for Dirty Daniel. What’cha think? I’m hoping for an October 28th launch date, so be on the lookout.
At the end of this month, I’ll be attending the world mystery convention called BoucherCon. This convention includes authors, fans, publishers, reviewers, booksellers, and editors and marks their 50th year. Each year the conference rotates to a different city, and I’m fortunate that this year it’s in Dallas from October 30th through November 3rd. This year’s theme is “Denim, Diamonds, and Death,” so there’ll be lots of boots, jeans, and bling! A few notables who’ll be there include Charlaine Harris, Sandra Brown, and James Patterson. I’ll definitely report on all the shenanigans next month.
Okay y’all, once again I’d like to ask you to take a few minutes and leave a review on Amazon on any of my books that you’ve read. Reviews are really the only way that I can get the attention of some of the bigger advertisers.
Before I end this newsletter, I want to sincerely thank all y’all for your continued support and for reading my stories.
P.S. Let me know what’cha think about the new cover. Send me your comments at email@example.com
